Rockingham General Hospital

Rockingham General, our flagship hospital, provides both inpatient and outpatient services for adults and children.

Having first opened in 1976, RGH has undergone extensive redevelopment transforming from a district to a general hospital providing a range of emergency, medical and surgical services for our community.

Our hospital has a 24-hour Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and a 30-bed mental health inpatient unit.

RGH is located in the beautiful seaside city of Rockingham. The region offers a relaxing, coastal lifestyle while enjoying all the advantages of being within an hours drive of the CBD and a 20-minute drive from Mandurah.

The hospital is easily accessible via road and is only a short walk from the railway station.

The Rockingham Kwinana region is among the fastest growing in Australia. The forecast for continued growth at its current rate, will bring with it significant employment, investment and lifestyle opportunities. Named as one of two Primary Centres outside of the CBD in the Government Directions 2031 framework, the future for Rockingham is bright.

Murray District Hospital

Our rural community hospital provides inpatient medical care, palliative care, respite care and care for frail-aged patients awaiting placement in residential care.

We also offer community services (supported by local practitioners) such as medical imaging, pharmacy and allied health therapies.

Pinjarra, the location of Murray District Hospital is just a short drive from Mandurah. It has a historic past and lies on the banks of the Murray River in Western Australia's South-West agricultural region.

Community Health

We provide a number of health services at our Mandurah and Kwinana community health centres. The services offered include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, podiatry, dietetics and continence advice.

Services for adults (18 to 65 years) and older adults (65 years and over) are available at our locations in Rockingham, Kwinana and Mandurah.

Community health and mental health centres are located in Mandurah, the capital of the Peel region.
